Bunkasai 2014

Alright it been awhile now and finally i attended the next event Bunkasai 2014 which take place at University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, first of all thank for organizing the event.

Let start it from the morning, me and my friend start going at 9am and reach Kajang KTM at 10am and wait for the shuttle bus because....(im poor :P) so no taxi pls XD. We are expecting for the 11am bus so most people wait at the bus stop in front of the KTM. We wait...wait....wait and finally the bus come, we all stop the bus and the bus just straight go only no stop. @@ what happen??? then wait until 11.30am everyone don't want wait already and decide to take taxi.

This is the part that i disappointed, taxi have a meter in the car and last time until now should charge according to the meter but recently this few year i already heard many case where the taxi driver actually charge a random amount (open a price) if YES, then take it, if NO, then get lost mostly report by foreigner ...then i already experience it 1 time where a 10 -15 minute walking distance, the taxi want charge me RM 50 (thought im foreigner that know nothing and tell me that place is very far), i say no then he call me get out of the car...WTH??...Then i take taxi this time again they say RM35 then later say RM 25, well it can be divide by few people and the bus didn't come so we have no choice just take it. In the end we arrive there and it just cost RM16-17 show in the meter where he say want RM25. Well fine im just wanna happily enjoy the event.

So this time i just take picture of the event, didn't shoot cosplayer :P because i just keep playing the entertainment available and walking around to visit the campus (this is my first time been there). So below are the random picture of the event.

Lastly was what i expected so much in every event "cosplay competition" but it end up only 5 participate so nothing much to enjoy. There should open the registration earlier to have more people get prepare, where they actually find people on the spot so end up like that. Well im feeling sad for that part T_T. Other thing is OK.

i actually really like the judge cosplay (blue hair), he cosplay a character of Shaman King where it look really alike with the anime character.

Alright so that conclude for the whole Bunkasai Event. Update on the event next time :)

VBG cosplay gathering 2014

This event happen on 18 Jan 2014 at One City from 10am - 4.30pm. Where it was a newly open complex, so that is my first time going there and according to the event discussion alot of cosplayer wanna go there but due to inconvenient of transport then they just decide not to go. I also having difficulty going there, lucky my friend can give me a hand. Most of the cosplayer are sharing taxi to reach there, hmmm bad location organize T_T.

I arrive there early in the morning around 9am but i heard somebody reach there at 6am lol seriously?!? Then i just capture the environment to let people who didn't go but wonder how was that place look like. A full environment video available at youtube so below are some random One City picture.

It still have some place incomplete yet but the environment design is nice, the inner center part have no air-con mainly natural air but it fresh and cooling. But the shop there have air-con. So around 10am we can start registering and we will get a goodies bag as shown in the picture.

Registration

After the registration, i have nothing to do since there are no entertainment performance schedule there so i just go and know some cosplayer(normally if there is performance then i just go and enjoy performance lol). Mainly because i am shy to introduce myself and knowing new people(everyone does). But in the end i take the first step and get to know some cosplayer. Some cosplayer i feel familiar but don't dare to go to them(later if not the one i know then very paiseh (embarrassing) sorry if i didn't go to you). Alright below are some cosplayer that i mix around with.

Im still new in cosplay so i looking forward to know more people and make more cosplay friends. Alright that all for the review, i will soon update on the next event that i attended and looking forward to it.

Comic Fiesta 2013

Alright here a new update review about Comic Fiesta 2013(CF13) that happen during 21th & 22th December 2013 location at KLCC. At here i will be speeding up by reviewing together Day 1 and Day 2 in this one single post since both day is almost the same XD.

If you do read the previous post then you will surely know that i just started cosplay for the first time so during day 1 i did cosplay as Kurosaki Ichigo from the anime series (Bleach) because i like Ichigo so much LOL. But day 2 i just become a normal person (Ichigo can go back to his body as normal person remember? LOL).

Alright back to business, so i woke up early in the morning and reach there about 9am then i end up lining at this far OMG show in picture 1.

Don't be so happy after you been through this long queue because after i passed this long queue there was another long queue waiting for you as show in picture 2.

But i had bought the early bird ticket so i can skip this queue that why i can stand here where no people around me, unlike the opposite side in the picture. Next up let meet my friends that accompany me to cosplay as shown in picture 3.

Last but not least, i would like to thank one of my non cosplay friend that help us capture picture and help us hold our belonging when someone want to take photo with us. Next stop we need to do "check up"(Body Check up XD joking~). Well they need to check whether the weapon is real or fake or does it harmful or dangerous, so picture 4 show the check up.......of weapon.

Alright when everything is done, what normally people do in the cosplay event???? GO SHOOT COSPLAYER. So the following random cosplay picture are just some of the sample picture that we captured. I don't plan to post up all cosplay picture here at this blog because it way too much and blog is not a nice place to hold picture so i decided to place inside Facebook(This guy Everything also Facebook :P). Coming up next is the booth. There are lot of booth there that selling art, comic, merchandise, fake weapon, badge, and more stuff that are game, anime, comic related stuff. I don't stand a chance to slowly capture item of the booth due to the crowd (Their fault not my fault LOL) putting the blame XP. Alright there was a video that roughly reviewing the booth available in the Facebook page too, go look for it(Facebook again X2). Below picture 5 show the crowded environment.

Then following up there are guest, artist, performance, cosplay competition, mini concert that available on stage to keep us entertain. But sorry to say i only lock on the cosplay competition only, i still need to keep some time for eating, buying, shooting cosplayer, walking around and enjoy myself (Don't treat me so bad T_T). Start of my cosplay journey

When I was a kid, i like to watch anime and im just keep watching one after another because the story of the anime was just nice.("im sure everyone will imagine themselves as the anime character and even buy the toy or merchandise available from the anime"). Then i getting more friends that watch anime and read manga that can share the story with during high school and find out about cosplay event was available there for people to cosplay the character that they like. So i had decided to become a cosplayer at that time and it become one of my hobby, but cosplay was a really expensive hobby and i don't have such expense to spend with so i had wait it until i move on to the age of college. Yet i didn't manage to cosplay because the course that i pick was computer game development, it was a tough course that require heavy programming so i end up focusing on it.

After i graduated and i finally have the time to touch on my cosplay stuff so i had think of a character that i like to cosplay and start DIY up my cosplay stuff to save cost. Below show some of my DIY picture.
